Account data: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials via our identity provider (Clerk). We do not store passwords directly.

Usage data: We collect anonymous, aggregated analytics about widget impressions and interactions. We record anonymous, cookieless interaction events (a widget loaded, opened, a question tapped) along with coarse signals like country and device type. No personally identifiable information (PII) is collected from your website visitors, and the widget never asks them to type anything.

Payment data: Payment processing is handled entirely by DodoPayments. We do not store credit card numbers or banking details on our servers.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

The widget itself sets no cookies and uses only a temporary sessionStorage flag to remember if a visitor dismissed it during their session. On usenook.live we use an essential cookie for your authentication session only. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

4. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third-party services to operate Nook:

• Clerk -- Authentication and user management
• DodoPayments -- Payment processing and subscription billing
• Cloudflare -- CDN, DDoS protection, and edge delivery of widget assets

We use collected data to:

• Provide and maintain the Nook widget service
• Process payments and manage subscriptions

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Anonymous analytics data is retained for up to 12 months. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
