Nook works on any website that supports a script tag -- WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace, Webflow, Next.js, and more.

Is there a free plan?

Yes! The Hobbyist plan is completely free and includes 3 active widgets with basic customization.

Can I use Nook on client sites?

Absolutely. Our Agency plan supports unlimited sites with white-label options so you can offer Nook as part of your services.

1. Introduction

Nook Widget Atelier ("Nook", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it when you use our website at usenook.live and our widget embedding service.

2. What We Collect

Account data: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials via our identity provider (Clerk). We do not store passwords directly.

Usage data: We collect anonymous, aggregated analytics about widget impressions and interactions. We assign anonymous visitor IDs using localStorage; no personally identifiable information (PII) is collected from your website visitors without their explicit consent.

Payment data: Payment processing is handled entirely by DodoPayments. We do not store credit card numbers or banking details on our servers.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

Nook uses localStorage to store anonymous visitor identifiers for widget rotation and interaction tracking. We use essential cookies for authentication sessions only. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

4. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third-party services to operate Nook:

Clerk -- Authentication and user management
DodoPayments -- Payment processing and subscription billing
Cloudflare -- CDN, DDoS protection, and edge delivery of widget assets

5. How We Use Your Data

We use collected data to:

Provide and maintain the Nook widget service
Process payments and manage subscriptions
Send transactional emails (account confirmation, billing receipts)

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Anonymous analytics data is retained for up to 12 months. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
