About Nook

The web used to feel like people. Somewhere along the way it became forms, chat bubbles, and bots, walls between a visitor and the human who could actually answer their question. We built Nook to put the person back.

Why Nook exists

Every founder, creator, and small business knows the feeling: someone lands on your site, has one honest question, and leaves because there was no good way to ask it. A contact form they won't fill. A chatbot that loops. An FAQ no one reads. The question that would have converted them goes unanswered.

Nook is the missing layer: a small widget where your face answers those questions as short, tap-to-play videos, right on the page, in the moment of doubt. No typing for the visitor. Not a chatbot. Just a face, one tap away.

What we believe

People trust a face. A person answering a real question on video builds credibility a form or a typed bot never will. Our job is to make that effortless: record an answer in a minute, or upload one if you'd rather not film (an AI avatar from a tool like HeyGen works too). Either way, your website feels human again.

Honesty beats cleverness. A pre-recorded human answer can't hallucinate or dodge. When you haven't answered a question yet, the right response is "leave it and I'll get back to you," not a confident guess. We'd rather be real than slick.

It should take five minutes. Powerful shouldn't mean complicated. Nook installs with one script tag and helps you record your first answers in an afternoon, no video team, no developer.

Who's behind it

Nook is built by Bibin Mathews, a solo founder who got tired of websites that hide the human behind a form. The whole product is built around a simple bet: that a face answering real questions will always out-convert a faceless funnel. If you have feedback, ideas, or just want to say hi, email hello@usenook.live, a real human (hi) will answer.
